sound barrier is a high-density 1 lb. and 2 lb. per square foot vinyl sheet material used to block and reduce sound transmissions through walls, ceilings, and floors.
typical applications use sound barrier applied to the wall, ceiling, or floor framing of a newly constructed room before the finished wall, ceiling, or floor is applied (roofing nails or fastener/washer recommended).
for use in existing rooms, sound barrier is applied to the existing surface and then covered with layers of finish material (sheetrock, paneling, ceilings, flooring). for optimum performance it is recommended to separate material surface from one another using furring strips or resilient channels to further isolate vibration related transmissions.

the süleymaniye is the largest square based semidomed mosque. ıt has been designed by sinan. the two semidomes are situated int the direction of the mihrab (niche indicating the direction of mecca), a plan we se in same sophia and later in beyazid mosque (1506). sinan had a very strong designed to surpass saint sophia, which was very much admired by the turkish may have been at the sultan’s request that the opded for a plan similar to that of saint sophia. however, if the two buildings are indeed similar in terms of their general plan, the süleymaniye is superior to saint sophia in terms of proportions, space and the rationality of the bearing system, as well as both its interior and exterior perception. the differences between the two religions in their approach to space has also had its impact on the building.

orta ve batı karadeniz bölümünde ve güney marmara bölümünde, orman içindeki evlerin çoğunluğu ahşaptır. bu meskenler, ormanlardan sağlanan ağaç malzeme ile yapılmıştır. bu evler çoğunlukla, taş bir temel üzerinde yükselen ve genellikle ahır olarak kullanılan zemin kat ile bunun üzerinde oturma katından oluşmaktadır. doğu karadeniz bölümünde ise, evin kenarında eklenti halinde "serende" denilen ve içerisinde zahirelerin konulduğu ambar ve ayrıca samanlık bulunur. özellikle ambarlar, hem zemindeki nemden etkilenmemesi hem de zararlı hayvanların ulaşmaması için yerden 1-2 m yükseklikte kalın ayaklar üzerine oturtulmuştur. samanlık ve ambarın, evin biraz uzağında olmasının ana nedeni, burada çıkan yangınlardan evin etkilenmemesi içindir.
doğu karadeniz bölümünde, tek ev ve eklentileri halindeki dağınık yerleşmelerin çoğu, ormandan kesilen ağaçların gövdeleri bazen olduğu gibi, bazen da kabaca yontulmuş halde üst üste getirilmek suretiyle...
